    Supporting fresh fruit and vegetable value chains through accessible revolving financing.

    Providing sustainable finance solutions to agribusinesses and SMEs in Uganda.

    Building SME capacity to access and manage green financing.

  • Madagascar Agribusiness Program – $11M (2021–2022)
    Boosting agricultural productivity and market competitiveness in Madagascar.

  • Heineken Irrigation Project (Rwanda) – $2M (2018)
    Implementing irrigation systems to improve barley production for brewing supply chains.

  • Somalia Investment Climate Reform Program – $10M (2017–2020)
    Improving the business environment to attract sustainable investment.

  • TechnoServe Uganda – Cotton Farmers Credit Scheme – $1M (2013–2014)
    Providing affordable credit to cotton farmers to enhance production and incomes.

  • Danida Private Sector Development Program – $3M (2001–2005)
    Strengthening private sector growth and competitiveness in Uganda.

PROJECTS

HortiFresh

Overseeing the daily administrative and operational activities that facilitate the smooth functioning of the association.

PSFU

Provided support in the design and establishment of PSFU and managed the $3M Business Uganda Development Scheme development.

UIA

Developed a multi-year Competitiveness and Investment Climate Strategy, serving as a foundation for the National Development Plan.

Standard Chartered

Supported  growth and operational efficiency through market surveys and competitor landscape analysis to guide expansion strategies 

DANIDA

Supported Danish-Uganda Business to Business Enterprise Linkages and joint ventures in cocoa, IT, textiles and piggery.

UNHCR

Conducted scoping missions and community consultations, with specific attention to the investment climate challenges facing refugees in Nakivale, Isingiro District, Uganda.

European Union

Supported firms in acquiring technology and skills, expanding into regional markets, enhancing export competitiveness, and sourcing strategic partners and supplies.

Somali Chamber of Commerce

Institutional capacity development and technical assistance to help Somali businesses capitalize on opportunities from Somalia’s accession to the East African Community. 

Nepal Investment Board

Provided investment climate support, including the establishment of the Nepal Investment Board and driving policy reforms that led to billion-dollar investments in Nepal’s hydro sector.

IFC / World Bank

Streamlined government-to-business processes, conducted public-private dialogues and supported economic diversification, agribusiness development, tourism competitiveness, entrepreneurship and enterprise linkages .
